DESCRIPTION
Originally, Jim Mcewan crated this single malt. In addition, he was a distilling legend. He also presented floral and elegant house style. As a result, it has become our signature bottling.
Jim has now retired but the spirit for this definitive Bruichladdich is still made from 100% Scottish barley, trickle distilled, and then matured for its entire life, on Islay, by the shores of Loch Indaal.
Each vatting of this classic multi-vintage cuvee is now carefully assembled from a suite of individual casks by our Head Distiller Adam Hannett.

Sunlight on fields of early summer barley
NOSE
Barley sugar and a hint of mint, notes of freshly cut wild flowers; buttercup, daisy, meadowsweet, myrtle, primrose, cherry blossom, glass, little zephyrs of spindrift and sea pinks
PALATE
Sweet oak, barley, ripe green fruit, brown sugar and sweet malt.
